Hi, I’m JAN VON DAN

Hey, I’m Janis von Seggern aka Jan von Dan, musician from Oldenburg, Germany.

I make handcrafted electronic music that comes from the heart and this is where you can find most of that.

I’ve got passion for 80s-sounding retro stuff, dreamy Indie music, and Classical, so as a consequence my own music is a blend of all of that. I make 80s-inspired Synthwave retro songs that could as well be dreamy soundtracks for imaginary movies and infuse them with organic real world sounds and a splash of animal noises.

Or, to put it simply: I force vintage synthesizers to make the sounds I like and sprinkle some bird recordings on top. As a hobby. A really time-consuming hobby…

Also, I really like birds. You can hear them in a lot of my songs.
